These are unprecedented times and we are stretched thin. Come talk it out.

Virtual Support Group for Moms with infants, toddlers and young children - every TUESDAY at 8 PM

Learn more about our Moms Group:

The difficulties and stress we have been experiencing this past year have taken a toll on us all. This year is one for the record books! As moms, it is natural to go through the ups and downs  of parenting whether it is infants, toddlers, or young children. Motherhood can be full of difficult feelings and experiences - physical fatigue and sleep deprivation, loss of your previous, more care-free life, the 24/7 role you now find yourself in, stuck at home with no place to go, the difficulty of finding a moment just for you....Now cue in COVID.

Even with the heightening of our stress as a result of our living through a pandemic, we- moms, can STILL take important steps towards self-comfort.

Our Tuesday evening group is a place for moms to:

  • have open, non- judgmental support
  • have a time to unload and explore feelings around being a mom, a wife, a friend in this pandemic
  • obtain guidance regarding our young ones' sleeping, eating, and developmental growth
  • explore feelings around raising children in a pandemic
  • validate the feelings of isolation emerging during this time, as well as the grief related to the losses we are experiencing as a result of the pandemic
  • discuss how having children impacts our relationships with spouses, partners and others
  • explore the balance and difficulties navigating between work and career goals and our roles as mothers

Our Moms Group  is facilitated by Nicole Wagner, LCSW, CPD (DONA). Nicole has spent over 20 years working in a variety of settings as a Social Worker and as a Certified Postpartum Doula. Nicole provides non-judgmental support and nurturing to women and families. She specializes in maternal mental health including anxiety and depression, trauma, parenting issues, feelings of being stressed, loss/grief and life transitions. Nicole offers the supports necessary to navigate through difficulties and toward connection with self and others as a more authentic way of life. She finds her work extremely gratifying as she knows that her support can ease hearts and minds during challenging times.

This 60 minute group takes place every Tuesday at 8 PM. It is an open group and is "drop-in" style.

Becoming a mother is one of the most difficult transitions that we can experience in life and mothering young children is one of the hardest jobs one can have, especially now during this particular time in our history.

Our groups are held weekly and are "drop-in" style. The suggested rate for our Moms Support Group is $25. A sliding scale rate of $15 is available for those who have been impacted financially by the pandemic. We also offer a 5 session group card available for $100 that can be used  throughout the 2020-2021 year (September-July).
